    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Yeah. I'll wait to hear how court proceedings go. I'm curious how it will turn out. Debbie may have messed up at the beginning, but the sheer vindictiveness of Toni at this point makes me think she doesn't stand a chance. Debbie makes an offer and Toni won't accept unless she gets to keep/kill the snake in question, much less try to negotiate a deal she believes is fair. This should be interesting.
 
Debbie tried her best to make it work with Toni. Seems to me that Toni has a problem with returning the snake. So what if the "deal" has been modified. Sometimes that happens and people have to work together in order to find a compromise. Debbie was willing to do this, Toni was not. It's almost as if Toni has something to hide... It just looks rather suspicious.

My good man, I'm sorry I ask this... But what is the problem here? I am having trouble keeping the E-mails in order of delivery and I'm also having trouble deciding which E-mail is from which individual. Her web-site says she will only replace the animal with an animal of equal value? Is your animal still alive? It did arrive safely?

The terms agreed upon by both parties where that Debbie would provide a refund replacement animal upon vet confirmation of the describe situation. She did not want the animal back and told Toni she could necropsy it. Is it too much to ask for someone to live up to their part of this agreement? :shrug01:

If there were any further terms to be worked out Debbie should have continued to be in contact with Toni to work them out - not post her terms on the forum and then disappear refusing further discussion. Don't blame Toni for Debbies unwillingness to live up to her TOS, live up to her word, live up to her agreements, and refusal to keep in contact or negotiate.

According to the email I got from Toni's daughter today she is in the hospital and not able to deal with this at this time. Again if Debbie wants to live up to her word - I'll be happy to pass on the good news to Toni and this can move forward - otherwise she can get off her butt and contact Toni herself.
 
I'm still waiting to see where Debbie asked/told her to necropsy the snake. I still can't fathom why you keep saying this, unless you're privy to some other emails that haven't been posted.

Also, circumstances change. Debbie has stated she wants the snake back as part of any deal, and it seems Toni wants to keep/kill the snake and get the refund. Sounds like an impasse to me.

Debbie I think it's understandable you want the snake back and/or for Dennis to hold on to it for a while. I hate it when people are quick to kill an animal that isn't suffering. (and I gather that besides the wobble/weird behaviors the snake is pretty healthy) You delayed a while getting the money orders ready to go, however, so I think you should just sit tight and be patient waiting for Toni's response.

Really....I just started typing and I already regret wasting my time on this.

OP starts a legitimate thread and gets lots of support, but gets all bent out of shape because she started being unreasonable and was told so. Now that multiple solutions have been presented, she refuses to come back to the thread she started, so instead, uses a mouthpiece to do it for her.

Funny how when this started, I felt bad for the OP. Now, I'd be more likely to purchase something from the bad seller rather than the OP or her spokesperson.

While I do agree that 1 day from the ultimatum is a little short notice, the money orders have been waiting for a month now. Toni is refusing to negotiate at all, so I would definitely understand Debbie giving her a deadline, just not one that's a day away.

If you look back, Debbie finally came through with the money orders more than one day ago, so it's not like Toni hasn't had the time to mull it over and come to a decision.
At this point, if they are both visiting other forums, methinks WE will never have the end results posted here by either one of them!
 
I have a feeling debbie will post the end results. I also have a feeling she is being more than reasonable about this, by wanting the snake back

Tonis Beef is wanting the vet bills paid for, at least, thats what my take on things have been made out to be because the BLBC forum posts.
 
I agree with you, Alicia, that Debbie seems to be more reasonable; other than dragging her feet I can't see where she's been beyond unreasonable.
Toni, on the other hand seems to want to have her cake & eat it, too.
