    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Jeff and Christina Wise (Wise Reptiles) Stole Money from Benefit Auctions for Maggie

It looks like Jeff tried to cover his tracks on Facebook as well....he took me off as a friend and his Wife's other account is now private. I didn't post Christina's other facebook because it had MANY photos of her children. I did however, saved some of the photos to my computer.

Jeff, you can block me, but just because you cannot see me does not mean I went away. You WILL pay the money you owe to these two families!

She deleted me as a friend last night on facebook and I believe a few others as well.
 
I know they were posting sale ads on Pangea. Matt has been made aware of this thread. Not sure what he will do if they try to post again over there.
 
I'm pretty sure that falsifiying bank statements and checks is a federal offense, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
 
I'm computer stupid but I know there's ways of getting by the private settings on Myspace/Facebook..

I believe that would also be illegal. We do not want to stoop to the level that said persons have already dropped to. We are certainly better than that and the right persons will continue to find a way to correct this horrible situation.
 
Jeff And Christina,

I reread your email to Nick and I would like to say that if these allegations are true, which I am 99% positive they are, you still have a personal reason on why you should make this right. Your reputation may be shot and you might never be anything in the reptile community or any of the forums. But I for one would like to see you make this right before you and Jeff end up doing jail time, you have your kids to think about. I don't want to see more children without their parents but you two have made your bed it is up to you on weather or not you lay in it in jail or in the comfort of your home.
 
I think kids would be better off without parents like these :ack2: that aside, I do hope they return the money without the need for legal action.

They are going to have to sell off everything they have to make up the money they STOLE from all of us. I dont see where they could possibly sell, unless they have a frickin garage sale! I will make it my point to make sure that they never sell anywhere online

Ok. I just finally read thru all of this.

Their site http://www.herperforums.wisereptiles.com is now down.. and yes, I was deleted from their facebook..

Just yesterday Christina IMed me on facebook bitching about how Maggie said she got no money and blah blah blah, .. But I had already been talking to Maggie about this for a while now, and got her in contact with Rick.. so that they were both on the same page (since I knew half or Rick's money was supposed to go to Maggie).. And Maggie had already told me that she received 1600$..

Right now I think we need to focus on how to rectify this. I may not have donated much money (and that went with the initial care packate to Rick, which he did get with the flowers and such for the funeral) but I DID help bump the threads, and even helped hook up those snakes from Jas for the donations..

We were all to eager to help Maggie, that most of us just jumped in to help.. In my mind, I do still think it was better to have one person run the auctions, and such and then direct the final funds to Maggie.. But .. clearly it should have NOT been a noob.. THAT part we got sucked into.. and I know I am not the only one who feels foolish for that.

I am mostly bothered by the interpersonal stuff. Christina used to come into chat, and tell us about how she was on the phone crying with Maggie, or that she talked to the girls.. and so on.. To hell with the money, these people just lost their Husband/Father.. . .. KIDS .. little kids.. and one would toy with them like that?

ANYwho.. Can every one that donated animals verify that they were shipped to the proper people? Can everyone that made a payment to the wise's post a photo of that transaction ??

Can we get all visible proof of transactions posted on here. So that we can then go one step further???
 
What would prove that animals were shipped? I'm off to screenshot my paypal account right now.

They definitely do not have my trust, or will get it. The people that are most susceptible to their lies will be newbies to Fauna like myself, especially the ones who are just getting into reptiles. If they show their faces on here again, and try to sway newbies with their lies, my temper will come through in full force:angry::angry::angry:
