HI! Well, now I get the genetics of all the ball python, burmese, and corn snake mastered then I get overloaded with the abino tic bug.
So that I know ( know, or think... ) there are 5 albino genes in retics? I guess there's T+, T-, lavender, purple, and amel? Or is Amel not albinism?
I've got the basic understanding of what causes the T+, and T- effects, but what causes the lavender, and purple, and is one a severity of the other?
Also are any of these albino traits compatible, or do you get double hets from breeding homozygous to homozygous?
Are there any write ups on any of this? I've done a lot of searching on google.com but there seems to be little written knowledge of retic morphs.
Heck don't get me started with what I'd like to know about the calico gene...
