Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Jeff and Christina Wise (Wise Reptiles) Stole Money from Benefit Auctions for Maggie

I just have one question about the chat. Did Christina happen to mention when she'd be sending the rest of the money to Maggie and myself, or was this just a 2 hour conversation about who else everyone should be blaming but her?

Amen!!!!! All the rest of this crap is just that, crap! So Christina manipulated a number of people to participate in this farce of a chat and what was the end result other then more drama and bickering amongst us? Was this yet just another 2 hour session of getting jerked off by the Wises with no happy ending? It certainly sounds like it. If nothing came from this circlejerk then it has no place here.

So did Christina say when Maggie and Rich can expect to see their money or not? Nothing else matters about this subject, period! :toetap05:
 
One last time - if you want to ask about, gripe about, or otherwise address the matter of the private chat - take it to the Fauna Feedback Forum. A thread has been initiated there, and most things have been explained. There is no need to further disrupt this thread when the discussion is taking place elsewhere.
 
I don't mean to cause trouble with the board admins, but it seems to me that this "chat" has everything to do with this thread. Not sure why it needs to go elsewhere?
 
Perhaps some of the content of it pertains to this thread - but the vast majority of what I saw was nothing new...read the thread, you'll get the gist of it. What is not pertinent to this thread is everybody pissing and moaning that the conversation took place, that it wasn't available to everybody, why some people were kicked out of the room, the repeated demands that everything be brought forward, etc.

I suspect that if Deborah and/or Brian feel any new information was obtained, they'll post it. From the sound of it, it will take some time to review.

It was held private so we could hear what she had to say without people attacking her or making comments that were of no use. She stated that she would leave if it happened so this is why it was handled the way it was. At least some form of communication has been open.

The lines of communication have been open. My phone number and e-mail have not changed. They know where I am and how to get a hold of me. Christina was the one who said I would not be involved anymore in an IM to Nick, which I have already stated was not true. I was and still am the best bet for them to get this resolved. I am still willing to take the animals from them and sell them (of course this is after I know they are healthy and eating well, etc...) and to get the proceeds to Maggie and Rich. I'm guessing this is the only way in which these two will be able to come up with the money they need to replace the funds they stole from Maggie and Rich, short of scamming some other person / community for cash somehow.

That is because any staff member can ban you from chat.... then unban from chat and it only affects the chat room. We too use vBulliten on our site and a chat mod. I mostly just gag members for 2 mins if they get to riled up and are causing troubles.

Ok seriously back on topic... I myself would like to know how Dean supposedly figures into all of this other that the Wise's are using "Dean" Made me do it as opposed to "the devil" made me do it. I have not understood how he is linked to this and can understand his frustration at even remotely being linked to haveing anything to do with this stealing of money.

I rarely, if ever, try to act in any manner of a judge concerning issues that take part on the BOI, but I think in this instance I do need to make a call that can only be honestly viewed as being "judgmental" in nature.

Here are some of my opinions based on what I have gleaned from this situation:
  1. Christina Wise has admitting to defrauding a large number of members by taking funds from auctions that were claimed by her (and her husband Jeff) to go to worthy third parties (Maggie Kimmel and Rich Morro).
  2. Most of the collected donated funds were instead kept by the Wises and thereby spent on personal items for themselves.
  3. Obviously a large number of lies to a large number of people were a prerequisite for them to be able to successfully engage in this scam they perpetrated. This indicates with a reasonable amount of certainly, using simple logic stemming from the probability that they will do in the future what they have done in the past, that any statements they may make now will equally be lacking in the truth.
  4. Furthermore, obviously they have spent that fraudulently obtained money, and they do not have the apparent means to pay any of that money back to the parties it was supposed to be destined for.
  5. I decided to allow them retained access to the BOI in the hopes that they will come here with truthful explanations, recognize the damage they have done, and make reparations to those damaged parties. Instead, it appears that Christina took advantage of her access to the chat system in order to do nothing more than throw even more confusion and strife into this mix as a method to deflect blame for what they did, and to also try to cover the tracks with deception and accusations against other members of this site.

Under the circumstances indicated above, I can see no benefit to ANYONE by allowing them to have access to this thread, this forum, or this site. It is my opinion that they will not, nor cannot, do anything at this point to make reparations for the scam they pulled here. As such, there is really no point in allowing Christina the opportunity to broadcast more of her lies and endeavor to escalate conflicts between other members in an apparent effort to try to save her (and Jeff's) own skin. So effective immediately, I am banning both of their accounts permanently from this site, as absolutely NOTHING will be gained from their continued presence on this site.

I did agree originally that they should be allowed access to this thread. I truly thought that at some point they would come on here and say something. I am astounded that they could just keep reading all of this and not say anything. That is just wild. It is human nature I think to either continue the lies or try to protect oneself. I am shocked they kept their mouth shut.
Once again proving they are much smarter than any of us thought.
 
I cannot thank you enough, webslave (I'd say Rich, but there are several people by that name here)! That anyone is giving Jeff and/or Christina the time of day is frightening.

I hope the actions of these lowlifes will bite them viciously in the near future.

I've also heard rumors that they may be coming to Texas.

I believe we have a tree and a rope awaiting these folks if/when they get here.
