    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

    A couple of garter baby pics

    Out of 78 babies I have picked a couple I intend to keep. They are eastern garters and both are from the same parents.     Brown snake babies (Storeria dekayi)

    One of my browns is giving birth as I type this! This is her first babies so I won't disturb her with pics until she is finished. I saw the first right after it was born and it couldn't have been more than 1 1/2 inches long! I'm going to be chopping worms for a long time to get the pieces small...

    Drastic post-shed color change

    My young adult eastern male was always an unusual color but since his last shed his color changed drastically. He was a medium reddish brown with high yellow sides, now where he was yellow he is a pinkish caramel color. Is it common for them to change colors after they are already grown?
