• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    New baby hognose not eating...tips?

I've had a baby western hognose for about a week and a half or so and she has yet to eat for me. I've tried three times to feed her (every time with a frozen thawed pinkie that was heated up in hot water). The first time I tried to feed her off tongs in a separate container. She reacted...

    Is this stargazing?

Many of the last several times I've checked on my new baby hognose she has been in the back corner with her body almost totally vertical pressed into the crease of the corner looking up. It's almost like she was trying to escape but decided to give up and just sit there. She's not like that...

Hognose temps (is 100 degree basking too high?)

I've heard some variable things about hognose temps. With the heat lamp I have the basking spot is about 100 degrees at the warmest spot with lots of places in the 90s and then the ambient temperature through the rest of the tank is in the low 80s. Is that too hot? My Northern blue tongue...
