• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

    Natural Rhac Viv

Alright, I know there are probably 9001 threads about this already. But I'm looking for some specifics. First off, what are the best plants? As in, don't require tons of natural sunlight, don't die easily, provide ample foliage, and look nice. And, of course, not harmful to the gecko...

Good Guy Jessica Butler - fallenangelgeckos.com - Absolutely outstanding!

It's gonna be hard to get across everything Jessica has helped me with, but I'm gonna try. First off, I was amazed at how great her customer service was. The first time I emailed her, got a reply within 30 minutes - and it was personal. This didn't stop after I sent her the money; she's still...

    Pride... apparently nonexistent?

Am I the only one who gets pissed off when people don't bother to use correct grammar/spelling/etc. when they're trying to sell their animals? I mean, for god's sake. Take some pride in them! Just something that really bugs me, I guess.

    Trade FS/FT Electronical things

I'm willing to trade any of this for Herp-related items or *possibly* herps themselves, although for actual reptiles a lot must be taken in to consideration. What I'm selling/trading: iPod Touch 1st Gen 8GB (opened, can ship in original box it came in. MSRP: $175) A few scratches on the back...

    Chameleon overview?

Okay, so first thing: I freakin' want a chameleon now. Second thing: I know I can't take care of/afford one now (and I just got a green iguana), so I won't be getting one now or anytime soon. But I do have a feeling that, one day in the not-so-near future, I will have a Chameleon (probably...

Bad Guy Nate Swanson - swaneesexotics.com

I bought a CBB Green Iguana from Nate this past Tuesday, and he shipped on Wednesday - overnight before 10:30. When the FedEx woman pulled up, I was confused at the box I was given: a simple cardboard box, no airholes or anything. And 2 corners were crushed. When I opened the box, there was...

    Silver scales?

I just got my baby iguana a few days ago from Swaneesexotics.com (I do not recommend buying from him!) and noticed that there is a patch of silver on his head. It's fairly small, and looks like someone took a silver sharpie to the scales. Is this normal?
