First O. p. coxi clutch of the year hatching.
Serenity and Atari's first clutch started to hatch last night, up to 4 pips this morning.

Wasn't cooperative either but maybe male? http://i903.photobucket.com/albums/a...psngo2rhkz.jpg http://i903.photobucket.com/albums/a...pshdkd0nkr.jpg http://i903.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps5rnu9ise.jpg http://i903.photobucket.com/albums/a...psmpwakujg.jpg |
Gorgeous! Your adults make great looking babies. I find it interesting that they are almost identical in appearance with the single saddle behind the head. The girl I got from you looked the exact same. Have you ever produced any babies without the saddle or multiple saddles? By the way, my pulcher is gravid again but it feels like only 3 eggs this time.
|
Yeah, this clutch was a little weird. Six look identical, one has no band and one has one thin band. Previous clutches, the one fairly thick band was the most common, 7 out of 10 had it and 3 had no cross bars at all.
The male sire has no cross bars and the dam has 3. Has your first clutch of pulcher hatched yet? |
Not yet...they were layed on 4/30 so I'm guessing another few weeks. The four fertile ones still look good. The fifth one ended up being a slug.

Very pretty babies! Congrats!
