Almost done for awhile
Had my physical done last week. Mostly good. Had scan for liver cyst that has not grown and no concern. Blood work came back pretty good and heart working properly. I was put on meds for enlarged prostrate. Seems to be working. Only getting up once a night to pee now, lol.
Tomorrow I take wife in for esophagus surgery. Her 3rd in 5 years. Hopefully 3rd times the charm. Between wife and I we have been going for surgeries and doctors since March. I am good until March 21. Need a psa blood test before I go in. Hoping 2021 is kinder for all of us! |
Praying that the third time is the charm for your wife!

Sounds like you and your wife are really driving over a rough patch of road, Joe. Hope things smooth out for you both real soon.
|
Best of luck to your wife on her surgery.

Glad to hear you're getting better. You know you've reached a different age bracket when you're browsing shopping is mostly in the pharmacy...
|
And, of course, all the best to your wife for her surgery. Just be glad she can even get to the hospital at this time - my relatives in the UK have had surgery delayed ever since the Covid thing started backing up the hospitals...

Yes Helen we had that here also. I sat at home for 5 weeks waiting for open heart surgery. Luckily she had no wait. She just got home yesterday. 6 holes in her stomach area. They found a hernia also and repaired that. Doing well, just sore and grumpy cause all she can eat is jello and very soft cooked fruit. I told her I'd add some bacon fat to it and she called me a jerk!

Hopefully by Thanksgiving y'all will be ready willing and able to eat a real meal.
|
Sorry to hear about all that, Joe. It sounds like everything is on the up and up now, COVID screwed everyone up as far as surgery schedules, you're right. May you and your wife have a speedy recovery!

Late to the party.
I hope recovery has gone well. :) |
