Kingsnake genetics?

Hey there..

Could someone point me in the direction of a good kingsnake genetics guide? I'm trying to wrap my head arounf how this works, so that I can pick out a good potential breeding pair.

Sidenote question.. could anyone tell me what the potential clutch would be from a stripe cali x reverse stripe?

I'm not aware of anything that is specific to Kingsnakes but if you are looking for a good summary on reptile genetics, I'd recommend the "Genetics for Herpers" by Charles Pritzel. It's available in pdf for under 10 bucks from his website. If you can absorb that book, you will have all the knowledge you need to answer your genetics questions.

As far as I know, stripe and reverse stripe are dominant genes so pairing one to the other has the potential to produce some of both morphs ...but I admit that Kingsnake genetics is not my area of expertise :). Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in here and correct me if I am wrong about that.
