Ovulation question...
So I have a dinker female that has lock with three males. Is there anything I can do to encourage ovulation or do I just wait and see? I have her all set up in a tank that has 100 degrees one side, 80 degrees on the other with hide log, and big water bowl. Today she's curled up on the cold side of the tank, I'm hoping that's a good sign. She's also off feed.

Or she could be hiding from 100 degree ambient temps ?

Yea, 100 is a bit high. I'd take that down to about 92. Other than that, cool side seeking is generally follicle building behavior. Really though there is nothing you can do but wait - some females will ovulate after 1 lock while others can take 15. It isn't the locks that count, it is how developed her follicles are. They have to be 35-45mm before she will ovulate.

I can bring down the temps, thanks!
