newbi question
what do the numbers in mean when talking about animals ?
example : Yellow belly cooters 1.2 |
First number is the number of males, second is female, third is unkown or unidentified sex. For example, if I have 1.3.6 Corn snakes. I have 1 male, 3 females, and 6 unknown or identified sex snakes. The third category isn't typically used except for younger animals that can't be reliably sexed or aren't sexed or for animals that you need a proper test for rather (DNA for example).
