Texas state laws vs. county laws
 

I have a question that maybe someone can help me out with. I have been handling venomous snakes for most of my life and when I moved to Texas a few years back I sold my collection. I now reside in Dallas and it is against county law to own venomous snakes. I know an RCES permit doesnt trump county law, but is there any other way around county law like another permit or if I can go talk to someone in city hall or something of that nature. I miss having my snakes and I would like to go about it the legal way. Any help would be awesome! Thanks guys
