800 GRAM FEMALE BALL PYTHON LAID 4 EGGS

I just recently addopted a very nice female ball python that supprised me with 4 small eggs. I had no clue she was prego! To top it off she was 800 grams after laying weighed 600 grams. Dosent that change a little about what we know to be BREEDING SIZE!

3 EGGS WENT BAD - 1 HATCHED a very nice lesser male

HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF THIS?

It doesn't change what we know of breeding size one bit. We know females can be bred way smaller, we just choose to breed them at a larger size to get better clutches, and for the females.

Most people have heard of it, it's called sperm retention. Google is your friend.

You're not the first to do anything. Sorry.

I was reading the first post with interest... then I realized who posted it.
Lol.

Not really....small women and young girls give birth all the time. Readiness for breeding is generally considered to be a combination of age and size; and people use different guidelines for various reasons. I personally wouldn't breed a female BP at 800g....but then, my goal is not to have them produce at all costs.

I SURE FOUND IT TO BE A BIT STRANGE!

P.S. I am just posting some of my experences on this site to get other breeders insights and experiences, to help myself as well as others learn about this fascinating hobby. To those who dont like it tough SH*T remember me HUSSLER1984 when you see a post by me just look past it if you can! I bet you have to read it because you will wanna know what Ive come up with next! LOL

Consider yourself advised to tone down the abusive attitude - there is no reason for that in the discussion areas....and replacing a single letter with an asterisk does nothing to conceal the intent behind the words.

MY APOLOGY

SORRY FOR THAT JUST GETTING SICK AND EFFIN TIRED OF DUM ACES TALKING SHIP

MrBig 12-22-2011 08:06 AM

I'd say that people are tired of your blatant disregard for the safety and health of the animals you care for, hence all the ship that is being said. Take alittle time and learn about these great animals, then maybe people won't be so negative when you post. Not to mention you might actually have some success.
