To start this off. Ive been allocating some money towards bitcoin and SPDR S&P Dividend ETF every month

I've been slowly moving my emergency fund in to I-bonds. I figure I'll have half of it there and leave the other half in savings. Savings account is paying 0.65% so inflation is killing it. I-bonds are currently at 9.62%.

Otherwise just throwing the 401k and HSA contributions into index funds that I won't need to touch for 10+ years.

I-bonds do have some downsides. You can't cash them out for a year, and if you cash them out before five years you lose the prior quarter's interest.

The rate is tied to the CPI which is why it's so high now.
