The Yellow Quince Monitor (Varanus melinus) are a medium sized Monitor species from Indonesia. Adults will average 4-4.5 feet in length making the Quince a great choice for people who don’t have the space to keep the Giants. The quince are also one of the “friendlier” monitors (I use that term loosely) because they rarely bite. They’re beautiful, hardy, and a rewarding species to care for.

They are feeding on crickets, roaches and pinky mice.
