dart frog
I want to keep dart frogs, and I have an opportunity to buy 110 gallon aquarium fairly cheap. How many can I keep in there and will it be a horrible decision to start out that large? This would be a project tank so piece by piece it would be built. I want this to be as low maintenance as possible, and the frogs themselves probably won't come for a few years. I'm just wondering if I should splurge and get the tank (110 gallon reptile aquarium w/ oak stand 200 obo).

I'd say go for it!
Thats a pretty good deal as long as the tank has been cared for during it's life. Even if you don't put Darts in there you could put a lot of other things in there. Not to mention that a smaller dart setup (20-50g) would be a lot easier to maintain than a 110g tank. Cheers, Red-Eye |
I'd say do it, thats a good deal.
as far as how many darts you can put in there it all depends on what species you want. I would personally load it ub with 10 or 12 adult D. terribilis. go to www.dendroboard.com for tons of dart frog info or you can e-mail me at quality_frogs@yahoo.com if you have some random questions on darts. |
