Fertile eggs?????

Do these eggs look fertile to you? The were laid on the 18th. I do not see any veins yet, just what looks to be little specs all over in the eggs. they are all plump and not caving at all. Please tell me what you think, any help will be great.

They all look fine to me. Are you using a small flashlight to candle them? Try to candle them at night for better viewing. You might wanna get more humidity. The one on top looks to be dimpled a bit.

You should be able to see veins before they go into the inc, were the eggs yellowish inside when you candled them?

I do candle at night with no lights on. The humidity is at 97%. the one on top is actually pretty plump aside from the one small dimple.

yellowish inside with no veins showing typically means unfertilized eggs, can you get pics of the candling,
it would be a lot easier to answer the $10,000 question :)

I will try to. how do I do that?

snakesRkewl 04-26-2011 10:52 PM

In low light take pics without the flash while the flashlight is held against the egg.

I will do it when i get home. Con it be my flaslight is too bright?

Use a small flashlight and place it right against the egg while your lights are off, you should be able to see the veins and the inside of the egg will glow yellow.
