In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

    Question regarding gray banded kings.

Thinking about acquiring a 1.1 unrelated group in the next year once I get my other animals situated in their new cages. I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a list of breeders who typically focus on this species and have these available most seasons. Not interested in surfing the...

Care info for Whites Tree Frog

I am considering getting one of these for my son; however, I will be the primary care giver. I have a 30 gallon tall aquarium fitted with an acrylic topper, making it front opening. Had this tank specifically for frogs but just never got any further than adding the topper. Can those of you...

    ATB perch question.

Can anyone who keeps atb's tell me what you use for perches? A description would be fine but pics would obviously be better. Several sites indicate they do not prefer the straight perches that are normally used for gtp's and etb's. I have several of the pvc cages built by Jim Scharphorn and...

Any opinions as to what is wrong with here?

I have been posting this on several sites but have yet to get any responses from anyone who has seen it before. Just received this atb on Friday. As you can see in the pics, the left eye is slightly swollen and discolored. My first thought was that it was a result of a retained eye cap but...

CB '06 Cali Kingsnake in Indiana, PA

I have a baby cali king which I purchased recently at the behest of my son, although as the adult, I admit I should have known better. I have three female mice in a large polycarb tub, all previous breeders. When I introduced a male (not a previous breeder) to the group this morning, one of the females immediately began attacking it. I quickly removed the male and am wondering if anyone here can explain why this female behaved...

Can anyone tell me if there is a veterinary practice in the Pittsburgh area that is experienced in working with exotic snakes (emerald tree boas, green tree pythons, etc.). Free passes to MARS on Sept. 17th

I pre-purchased admission wrist bands for me and my family for this show on Saturday the 17th. A last minute change of plans has resulted in our inability to attend this event. I now have two adult and one child wristband for admission on the 17th. Please note these are not weekend passes and...

Heating? Anyone else using Sterilite tubs as enclosure?

I just adopted 4 leopard geckos (1 male/3 females). Although the previous owner kept all four together, I separated the male from the rest to give them a break from egg laying. The three females are in a 90qt Sterlite tub and the male is in a 73qt Sterilite tub. I am trying to determine how to...

    Building a vivarium

Newbie here wanting to build a vivarium for a couple of dart frogs. I have experience with keeping reptiles but not frogs. Researched several websites that go into designing vivariums but frankly I am just not that mechanically incline. Looking for a more "Vivarium for Dumbies" guide or kits if...
