• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    5 New Boas!

Hey guys! I just received 5 new boas from Brett Kalinowsky at BKReptiles. They all arrived alive and active, and immediately began to investigate their quarantine enclosures. The 5 of them came in 2 separate cloth bags which I emptied into the quarantine enclosures before separating, which is...

Good Guy Scott Seavy of CVExotics

I just purchased a 2009 female ghost het moonglow boa from Scott Seavy of CVExotics. I paid for her yesterday morning and she arrived this morning, less than an hour ago. She was packaged safely and securely with a heat pack, wrapped safely in a cloth bag, with plenty of crumpled newspaper to...

    New Ghost het Moonglow

I just bought a 2009 ghost het moonglow female from CVExotics yesterday, and she arrived just over half an hour ago today. She's gorgeous! I didn't want to mess with her too much, but I did take a few pictures before I put her in her quarantine enclosure. In a few weeks, once she's acclimated...

    Neonate Care Question

I'm planning on attempting to breed some boas this year, and I have a question. Last time I bred the babies were born with external yolk sacks. I'm not sure how common that is or how to care for babies born that way. Any advice you might be able to offer from your own experiences would be...

Good Guy Chris Drews of DCBoas

I recently purchased a male snow boa from Chris Drews of DCBoas. Chris performed admirably and the boa arrived beautiful and active. There is a url to my thread & pics in the boa forum here: (http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1579634#post1579634). I don't really know how to...

    New Snow!

Hey! It's been a while since I've posted, but I just sent money for a new boa and I'm totally excited. I just had to share pictures. He's a snow, produced by DC Boas this last season. He hasn't shipped yet, but once it's warm enough he'll be on his way. I'll be sure to post pics once he arrives...

    How To: Handling Claims

A little while ago, when selling a pair of stunning Dumeril juveniles, I encountered an awkward situation. I'd like to explain exactly what happened, and see what you guys think of how to handle situations like this. A man saw pictures for two Dumerils I had in my collection. They weren't...

Good Guy Peter Clausen, Great Shipment!

My wife and I just ordered a Florida Ivory millipede for our daughter, as a Yule gift. Having heard of the site in passing, we ordered from Bugs In Cyberspace. Our order did not ship as quickly as we had hoped; it shipped 4 days after we paid. The reason this was potentially an issue is...

    Second Breeding Attempt

So I'm a fairly new face around here. I'll spare the long story and describe this particular issue. I'll make a second post detailing my horribly failed first breeding attempt afterwards, heh. Anyhow, suffice to say that I am a university student studying biology. I've been keeping and...

    Another New Face

I recently registered on this forum, and have come to make my obligatory introduction. I've come to accept that few people read these, and fewer still respond with anything other than "Welcome to [name of forum here]!" Regardless, introductions are in order. I am a young (relatively) husband...
