I hatched this girl out from a multi sired clutch. The mother was a lesser and the father was either a bumble bee or enchi. She looks like a pastel lesser to me but I also see some enchi influence in the pattern. The only reason I am leaning towards pastel lesser is the light head color, which...
Well since it seems everyone is showing off their mojaves I thought I would show off mine. The male is the light one and the female is the dark one. Everyone is invited to post pics of their mojaves too!!!!!!!
Enjoy:D
Just wanted to let everyone know my user name has changed slightly. I finally got around to changing from: greencountryreps. to GreenCountryHerp.
Thanks-Danny
I was just curious how many of you use cypress mulch for you BPs. I am currently using aspen but have been thinking on using the cypress because its cheaper and I use it with my green tree python. The only hangup I have had with changing is that the cypress seems like it is very rough and sharp...
I finally got around to taking some pics of these guys. I ended up with 3.3 lemonbacks, 0.1 spider and 0.1 normal. I think those are some pretty nice odds. I guess my bee male had to throw in a spider for good measure:D Hope you like the pics, the first three are the males and the last three are...
Just had a couple hatchlings emerge from the eggs and I thought I would take some pics. Can anyone guess what these are? Clue-they are a single gene morph and look nothing like the adults. In the third pic there is a normal at the bottom to show the difference. Good luck:thumbsup:
Just added another girl to the collection. Take a guess at what morph she is. I think some of you guys already know what she is, but just to keep the others in suspense I will let the guessing begin. Thanks for looking!!!
I was just wondering if all the fire lines are compatable. I have a lemonback PE line fire and I am not sure if I can pair him up with another fire line and still get the super. The lemonback fires look different from most of the other fires I have seen. If anyone has any info to share on this I...
I just got this girl earlier this week. She is smokin' hot. When I bought her the ad said it was a male and before shipping they double checked the sex and guess what??? The boy was a girl instead, so I got a female for the same price as a male and as everyone knows female clowns are hard to...
I finally had a female lay some eggs this morning. I was checking up on females when I got home from work at 3:00 this morning and saw her vent was open and about 30 minutes later out came egg #1. I just checked up on her again and counted 7 eggs so far and I don't think she is finished yet...
I just got this guy last week from Tom Barnhart himself. He was in full shed when I got him, so I was waiting to post until I could get some pics after he shed. Well here he is. The Barnhart line of black pastels are really doing some crazy stuff. I hope to plug this guy into my silver streak...
I saw in another thread somewhere about female deserts are known to either throw slugs or their offspring don't live that long. Does anyone have any experience with this? Oh and Harold thanks for setting me straight in the classifieds, I wasn't trying to do any harm:D
I have heard that female bps can carry viable sperm for up to 3 years. If this is true how do people know 100% that their hets are true hets. For example: you have a female mojave that you breed to a male mojave. The next year you breed her to an albino. When the eggs hatch you will most likely...
The female het red was bred to a male het red already, I decided to throw in my bumble bee in the mix. I haven't seen a bumble bee het red yet, so that would be cool. Also the red axanthic would be cool, so either way I should get something cool out of this.
I just wanted to get some opinions on this. I am sure everyone has debated this at some point in time. I currently use belly heat on all my racks. I am in the process of building another rack and it would be some much easier to just run heat tape down the back of the rack instead of on each...
