    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

    Good Guy Rainbow Mealworms: Good guys!

    I just got my delivery of superworms, eggcrate, and fruit-n-grubs gargoyle gecko food today! I'm very happy with Rainbow Mealworms' service. There wasn't a single dead bug in my delivery, despite the fact that they spent an extra day at the post office (not RM's fault; the package was simply...

    Trading etiquette?

    So a new breeder and I entered a deal where I would send him about $50 worth of grapewood to pay for the shipping/handling of a leopard gecko. My question is, who pays for the S/H of the wood? Do I cover that or does he? Is there a usual etiquette here or is it something we work out between...

    Good Guy Linda's Gone Buggie

    Linda's Gone Buggie has provided some of the best service I've ever seen. She's great at communication and does everything she can to keep a customer happy. I have a very, very small and still struggling-to-start reptile rescue. When she learned this, she rushed my order of silk and hornworms to...

    Inquiry Anyone do business with Pacific Coast Beardies/Danielle Van?

    I couldn't find a name on the Pacific Coast Beardies website, but a bit of snooping on FC reveals that the owner is Danielle Van. I'm in the market for a bearded dragon and I'd love a red one. PCB has some really gorgeous reptiles, and I found a good review on FC, but I really want to be...

    Biting leopard gecko?

    In late July, I got a young leopard gecko from LLLReptiles at the San Jose convention. She----I'm just guessing at the sex----has been an absolute darling. I tong trained her with mealworms and she completely associates tongs with food now. From what I can tell, she's five months old. She...

    Hello!

    Hi, I just joined FC today. I'm really new to reptiles in general, to be honest. After a few months of research, I got my first----and currently only----leopard gecko in July. She's pretty amazing and if I start talking about her, I'll never shut up. I've also got three cats and three rats. My...

    Inquiry Danny's Dragons?

    Does anyone have any experience with Danny and Christie Marie of Danny's Dragons? They're a small-scale bearded dragon breeder in California, specifically in the Bay Area.
