In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ghost het Kahl x Arabesque Kubsch Red Pastel dh snow

Figured she'd deliver today, she was cruising about quite a bit this morning. Momma did good. One downer, the moonglow has a kink. I'm hoping it can eat and thrive, if so it'll get a pet owner. (Think one of my daughters is thinking about it).

How many Boa keepers are still around?

I know the forum gets ups and downs, but wanted to see how many Boa keepers are still around on occasion. (I unfortunately have been on far less than I would like to be).

Curious how the hobby is going in your area (different parts of the Country/World)

I've noticed that certain aspects of the hobby are all but completely tanked, (Here's looking at you Ball Pythons). While other segments are still doing reasonably well. I was curious to know how the hobby is doing in your area? I'm in Kansas, near Wichita, and outside of Ball Pythons, Leopard...

Having a hard time getting an answer about blood boas.

I'm trying to find an answer about compatibility of Berry and St. Pierre blood boas. My memory says they're not, but I can't find anything to verify or not.

    Been working on some keychains

Been trying to come up with some fairly cool keychains. The USARK one was simple... Thinking I might give one of those out with every animal I sell at shows. I thought the I brake for snakes idea would make a cool one also.

    Haven't really showed these off.

I hadn't kept blood pythons since the early 90s. They always had been on my intended to keep again list, I've finally got a group going. 1.2 T+ and .1 Goldeneye. I think I'd like to add a Batik to the group and call it good. For now at least.

    Been working on building racks.

I've been wanting to increase the number of animals I'm raising up, so needed to increase the amount of space I have available for it. So gave a go at building a steel rack around the VE Super 70 tubs. I decided it's just too heavy a material so built a 2nd rack around ARS 70 tubs out of...

Reptile Basics RHP plug design change.

I have been using Reptile Basics panels for about 6 years give or take. The original plug design with the cord that was attached was great imo, required a minimal hole drilled to install the panel, and didn't cause any headaches as attaching the plug end was very easy. The change they made...

Looking for a good inexpensive dimming stat.

I am wanting to add some light fixtures and heat projectors to a few of my enclosures as I change things up a bit. I of course want some dimming thermostats to control the fixtures to control their output without impacting their lifespan. So are there any reasonable dimming thermostats out...

I have a question regarding deicing cable.

So I just did a trade, and in it I got a rack from gettin shippy. The heating method is something I've never seen before. It is using roof/gutter deicing heat cable. Is this something people have used without issue? I've used reptile heat cable, but would have thought this would be potentially...

    Rat colony question.

So I've had the rat colony for a little bit now. (some bumpy roads but mostly smooth going knock on wood). I've reached a point I need to move some weaned rats but I don't have an empty tub slot. What is the general practice on moving weaned? I have a slot that is housing smalls (around 12 to...

Picking up a rat colony tomorrow. Have a question.

So my feeder supplier is getting out so he can travel and do stuff with his wife. Happy for him, but sad for me lol. He's selling me what he has left of his breeding setup (An ARS 70, 6 high rack, with watering system, 50 rats, gas chamber etc.) I initially was planning to put them in my...
