    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

    Sick ornate...

    I have a friend with an Ornate uro. She just lost her male to this--he went downhill FAST. She has the female in the same type of setup the male was in. She did not keep them together, and they were never in physical contact. She had her male into the vet (well known exotics vet, good vet) and...

    Does this disturb anyone else?

    Found this in an ad earlier.... From what I remember from researching boa breeding a few years back, the female should be at least 6 ft, and a healthy weight, and it's preferred that she's bigger. http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60836 that's the ad I found it in....

    Warning points?

    Are the warning points good for the BOI only, or do they cover the whole board? IE, someone posts an external link (good for 1 warning point) on say, the boa forum, if the moderator catches this, would they get a warning point, or only if they had posted an external link on the BOI? If this...

    mites and frozen rats....

    I feed my boa once every 3-4 weeks, one large rat each time. If I feed him more than that, he tends to get towards being fat. I've been buying frozen feeders from a local petshop, but each time after I feed him, within 2 weeks, he's covered in mites. To be paranoid, I took everything out of his...

    tadpole care...???

    There is a mudpuddle near my house, and has a ton of tadpoles in it. The puddle tends to stay pretty much full, but I've been thinking about catching a few of the little guys to see what kind of frog they turn into. I have a 10 gallon tank already, and at least one airpump with a stone, and...
