    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

    Info bad check Laura Casey / DragonLady5

    Unfortunately I'm compelled to make my first BOI post. (blurred out sensitive info - home address, account/routing number, driver's license number and phone number written on the check) Back in December 2010 I made a post looking for wholesale out-of-the-egg baby cornsnake buyers. I knew I...

    Step 1: Eat the candy in a box Step 2: Put your snake in that box Step 3: Make her open the box and that's the way you do it! Cheets, my female Kenyan sand boa, 7-8 years old.

    Help with mites :(

    Well this is a (bad) first... got a male woma at a show a few weeks ago. He looked clean but now I just realized he's covered in mites :( He sure wasn't a few weeks ago but while I've fed him and he ate OK I haven't been inspecting him too closely until now. I'm looking around online, but I'd...

    Shipping large orders?

    I was wondering what's considered the best way to ship lots of babies? I'd like to be able to ship about 50 baby corns. I've done quite a few small shipments by now, and normally I ship them in individual delis, (& styro-lined boxes from superior enterprises) of course, but the biggest order...

    Good Guy Mike Curtin, great!

    This is probably a "well duh" post but I think he deserves to have one up here: Mike Curtin aka captnemo is a pleasure to deal with! Great communication and great animals. I just bought my first woma from him and she arrived a bit over a week ago, perfectly packaged and healthy. She's been...

    Cohabing womas?

    I've admired womas for years, but am only just now getting one :D A baby girl, though I plan to get a male next season. There really aren't all that many caresheets out there, but enough that I think I'm fairly prepared. I have one question though; one of the first caresheets that pops up on...

    legality in illinois?

    Howdy all! I've been oogling hognoses a while but have yet to take the plunge... some day I'm sure I will! However, I'm a bit concerned about reptile laws in Illinois; I haven't seen *any* hoggies at the local shows here. At first I thought it was just because the shows were small, but now I...
