• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Or should I say morals vs. logic. The scenario: Animal X is one of your favorites to keep and breed. It's not be a very rare or "valuable" species, but you've always enjoyed producing fun morphs and keeping just for the pleasure of keeping. Any funds from the resulting young are icing on the...

    Mesh cage divider-- ideas?

Technically this is for a rodent build, but you guys are the masters of cage building, so I thought I might fish around for some ideas. I'm looking to build a divided cage (or just the divider itself) for separating and introducing breeders gradually without the cage-in-a-cage method. It needs...

    For Sale 1:6 Roborovski Hamsters

A bit less exotic than most of the stuff around here I'm afraid, but an interesting project nonetheless. I have 7 normal Roborovski hamsters left I'm looking to sell; a trio of sisters and an unrelated mother + three young (1:2). These are the last of my robos, as I am no longer breeding them...

How did it all begin? (your stories)

Forgive me if such a thread exists-- didn't see any when I searched! I would appreciate a link if this has been one before  For some, keeping and breeding herps has been a lifelong journey that began in childhood. For others it is a passion that developed later in life. I would love...

    Hello from eastern PA!

Found this forum a few weeks ago and finally convinced myself to join and say hello! The only herp I have of my own right now is my normal ball of 18 years, but I'm starting to look more seriously into western hogs as I settle into post-graduate life (physically and financially!). My other...
