This is truly one of the saddest things happening in our school systems today. No wonder so many adults don't understand that science is actually a process and not just a body of collected knowledge. Creationism breaks one of the biggest tenets of science, that is the ability to attempt to disprove the hypothesis. How can you disprove the presence of a supernatural being?

I have no problem with religion, but teach it in a religion class. Religion is not science. It's so disappointing that science teachers don't actually know what science is.

Can you imagine if other subjects were taught as poorly as science is. Instead of doing math we would just memorize a bunch of formulas without ever actually learning how to add. Instead of learning to read and write we could just learn the letters of the alphabet without ever learning how to use them.
