ok i have a system that works better than all of those, take a ice cream bucket the plastic kind. Take a knife and puncture little round holes in the side all around the bucket. Place this in the container that you want your crickets in, dump your laying substarte in the bucket all the way to the top the crickets will climb out the holes on the sides and climb over the top.
