Gator appears in Ludington MI

Ludington - It's a site you don't normally see at your neighborhood park, unless you live in Florida. This particular time it happened in Ludington and involved a gator.

Officials in Ludington are trying to figure out how an alligator wound up in one of its city parks.

Witnesses found the 4 foot long gator hiding in some tall grass at Copeyon Park.

Police and animal control officers were called in to corral the animal.

Residents think someone may have been keeping the reptile as a pet, but decided to let it loose when it got too big.

That is what happens when you have so many irresponsible people who think keeping an Alligator is "COOL MAN" just like what is going on in the Everglades in Fla. Too many idiots purchasing reptiles that will eventually grow to a length that is un-manageable to keep. So, what is the thing to do, why of course, lets go dump the animal in a park or somewhere else where it will become a nuisance to people.
