spotted mating!! HELP!

Do spotteds require hibernation to mate?

Nothing absolutely needs hibernation. It just usually helps stimulate breeding, and allows the females time to develope egg cells.
Good luck!

Is it egg cell production that is enhanced by brumation, or is it actually sperm cell production, or maybe both?

Im not too sure.
I was told by a breeder, when I asked if I needed to brumate my corns, he said no, but it helps females produce more egg cells.
The males probably have more time to produce sperm if brumated as well.
