Wild Herp Pictures

Hello, I'm new to these forums but I just thought I'd share some pictures I have taken of wild herps around where I live. I am 15 and am considering photography as a later profession, so any critique/comments are much welcome =). Some of these are just snapshots, but I have included some of my better pictures. Hope you like!

Anoles, they are everywhere here in Florida!

A toad. Does anybody keep these as pets? They eat pretty much any kind of insect and are all over the place.

Some sort of big slimy tree frog.

Tree frogs feasting at the light!

The worst picture but afraid it was the best I could do, it was a small (I believe) Water Moccasin so I didn't feel like getting any closer, or try to push the grass aside.

Nice shots of some beautiful herps!
The snake in your photo is a non venomous juvenile water snake (Nerodia) but when in doubt it's always wise to keep your distance.

Good work, Keep it up.

Oh! Haha, well it's a good thing it wasn't a Water Moccasin, because although it doesn't look like it I was pretty close to him. Heh, oh well, see what I do? Risk my life (or so I thought..) for crappy photo's!

Actually, the tree frogs picture kicks butt! Your 'big slimy tree frog' is also a great shot. Well done on the pictures...keep clickin' that shutter! (or digicam button...whichever..)

Very nice pics, your pics make me really miss living in FL. Well, your pics and the masses of snow outside.
