Help! Do chams get mites?

Hi all,
I have a BP collection that got infested with mites, before I realized they had mites, I shared equipment between my chams and bps. They also live in the house with the bps. So assuming the chams at some point were in direct contact with the mites, can they also be effected? Please advise.
Thanks,
Jen

Yes, they can. Reptile mites are equal opportunity parasites and do not discriminate between species.

I have never seen snake mites and lizard mites cross. Meaning snake mites, black, are attracted to snakes, lizard mites, red, go after lizards.

If there is a lack of appopriate food, various reptile mites will go after anything around. Snake, lizard or even frogs.
