more Eggs!!!!

I had this clutch laid this morning...Black Pewter X Pastel....4 BIG eggs....waiting on 2 more clutches to be laid...Normal Female X Pewter just had a post ovulation shed...and sometime in the next couple of weeks I have a bumblebee that should lay...crossed her to a Pinstripe...Pewter and a lesser....curious to which 1 took!!!!!....I also have an albino X het albino clutch due next week...Im having a busy winter!!!!

Sweet, congrats! Just curious how much did she weigh before the lay?

She was about 1400 grams going into breeding...I still have not removed the eggs...Ill do that tomorrow.

I remove eggs right away. They can get dried out. Not to mention I would imagine it would be more stressful on the female.

Either way, congrats on the eggs!!!!

Nice clutch!

The eggs won't dry out overnight, guys. People miss seeing clutches all the time, sometimes days after they're laid. Plus, the moms incubate their eggs outside incubators all the time.

I take the eggs to a friends house for incubation and I cant get there till tonight and the mom incubating them till then is just fine...so im not removing the eggs until i can take them to the incubator...the mom is not stressed at all...its what they do naturally...actually...the last clutch i had laid the female is already passed the size she was before she became gravid...i completely clean the cage and stick her back in and soon enough she will start eating again.
