    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just purchased a male savu python from Evan and it was a great experience. Easy transaction, prompt return emails and he is going to try and find a female for me as well. The snake arrived today in perfect health. I will definitely purchase more animals from Evan.

So how exactly did I "know that the money had been refunded prior to this post here" when the timeline clearly shows I made the post before you and the OP announced that she had been refunded?

Sorry, but I'm not the one calling him a liar and sending him threatening emails. I did reply to this email by asking him to move along as he said he would in the other thread. Hopefully he does that and we can be done with it.
 
That's what is wrong with this hobby, one transaction out of 1000 gives you a bad reputation. No wonder why so many people are not wanting to use Fauna anymore. It's always an all out assault on you if you make a mistake, people jump all over you before they get all the facts. Oh, well at least kingsnake.com is still around.
 
I'm glad that the OP and a couple of the other posters had a great experience, it wasn't the case for one or two others that were addressed in another thread.

I am not going to address whether linking from one thread to another was right or wrong but I do want to address your post above.

Mr. Jenkins, my thought on this is that it wasn't that he had a bad transaction, it was how he chose to respond to it.

If I ordered something from you and something happened along the way and I contacted you and you made it right or we compromised then I would post a good guy for you. Now take that same transaction and you told me too bad or dispute it with paypal or that you'd make it right when it was convenient for you, I too would start a bad guy thread.

You have some pretty good feedback on here from what I can see. Have you never had an issue with any transaction and did what you could to make it right?

Things are going to happen when you are dealing with live animals, weather (too hot/too cold), shipping delays and any number of variables that can turn an easy transaction into a difficult one. It is your choice how or if you satisfy your customer. Just my thoughts.
 
I have had issues in the past and handled them appropriately, I am just saying the BOI seems to jump the gun more times than not. All my customers know I will do what it takes to make them happy.

In Evans case, I do think he should have refunded the money before having to resell the animals. That is just bad customer service but the buyer was equally at fault for wanting the animals shipped regardless of the conditions. The pot calling the kettle black!!!
