0.1 Avicularia urticans “Peruvian Giant Pinktoe”, These particular pinktoe tarantulas are not very common in the hobby. They are a rainforest arboreal species with a beautiful appearance. This is one of the larger-growing Avicularia. Adults average 5.75" to 6.75"+. Their disposition is skittish to semi-aggressive. Captive-born stock seem more calmer overall. They grow fast starting out as .5" spiderlings and males maturing in less than 1.5 yrs. with females maturing just over 2 yrs. They look great in a live plant vivarium with waterfall or fogger machine running. Temps 75F-82F with humidity of 80%.
