    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Weren't those payments for a different transaction though? If so they have nothing to do with this one that went bad.

If you're close enough to the seller that making the drive to his county wouldn't be a hardship then file a small claims suit for the value of the turtle. You may even be able to get the paperwork sent to you (for a fee) if you call the courthouse, and if you can file by mail then you would only have to travel on the date of the trial.

Personally I'd drive pretty darn far for $4k...

The prices were discounted and only one transaction was made, with several different agreements. Essentially one would have never occurred without the other. But I understand what you are saying, so I need to let paypal and MasterCard tell me yes or no.

Also Miami Dade investigators said I can attempt to swear out a warrant, however, I must show in person. Also, the judge may or may not swear out the warrant. But also, with Steven Brenner in jail, I still won't have my turtle.

So I am exploring many alternatives to recover my Steven Brenner Losses

You're still thinking criminal. This isn't a criminal case, it's a contract gone bad. Small claims court is civil. No one goes to jail, a judge just rules whether or not Stephen Brenner owes you payment for the turtle.

Once you have the judgment you can take efforts to collect like garnishing wages or bank accounts, or putting a lien on any real estate he owns.

I see, that's what I will do, and see what may come of this. It's been so long, even since Steven Brenner promised on this BOI, to make right. I want Steven Brenner to come on here, and just say "I stole the turtle" or whatever, instead of laying low.

What happened to Nick, and the other folks who kindly spell out my faults. How come these same people became quiet once I presented my case. Honestly if this saves one of my fellow turtle enthusiasts from getting ripped off by Steven Brenner, than it's all worth while for me. Thanks!
 
What do you mean what happened to me? I am hoping to see this get resolved according to the latest agreement. Have not had anything to add since nothing new seems to have occurred yet. I do not post for the sake of making noise.

I genuinely hope that the snow with split scutes is sent to you as soon as possible and that the deal can be considered completed once you have received it. It would benefit you both to be considered whole and to be able to leave the situation under mutual settlement.

Also note that the guy's name is "Stephen Brenner" according to his profile. Spelling names correctly is important when filling out court docs and doing searches for assets.
 
Stephen Brenner contacted me and discussed this situation. He apologized for his shortcomings on the deal. He stated he can promise to complete the transaction absolutely no later than February 1st, 2016 by sending me a split Scute snow. I am very hopeful this occurs. I DID agree to this offer. I'm going to post the text massages. Both parties categorically agreed to a February 1st deadline.

Just wanted to post a quick update, Stephen Brenner and I agreed to a deadline of February 1, 2017 Although he said I would receive my long lost trade prior to February 1, 2017, that is the actual deadline, and he admitted to his wrongdoing.

he must be laughing all the way to the bank by now!
I may be wrong but I reckon hell will freeze over before he makes good on this.

This matter remains unresolved, I wanted to update the thread. Although Stephen Brenner apologized for the heist, and he agreed to provide me a split scute snow res, I am doubtful this will occur, only because of the onslaught of broken promises.

Unlike some issues, or boi threads, Stephen Brenner categorically and downright brazenly stole this turtle from me. If he ends up paying for, or trading something for the stolen goods, I will update the post. Thank You
 
I thought you would have received your snow by now, really. I hope it happens in the near future and this can be put to bed, so to speak. For both of you. Having it all linger like this makes it even less pleasant than it already was. Would be nice if it would conclude amicably and soon.

Also I'm still confused about the disputes with Paypal that you have supposedly closed.
It's been a while since I read this thread and don't have the time to read it again. Please correct me if I'm wrong, this was a trade deal that went sour and hasn't been resolved yet, correct? I remember you opening disputes on turtles that you paid for, received and were happy with. You opened a dispute on that purchase to get at least something for the turtle you traded. I believe you said it was all the same deal, which doesn't make much sense especially to a financial institution, since the items paid for were received. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see how a dispute or chargeback would be rewarded on a trade deal.

Don't get me wrong, I believe you are owed either money or the agreed upon turtle as trade, no question about that.
I hope it does work out for you and you get what you're owed by February 1, 2017.

Your correct, nothing has changed since the agreement to make good on the deal by February 1, 2017. I was not trying to cause a fuss, the silence from Stephen Brenner has me almost certain he will not come through.

If he does come through, I will come on this BOI and say I was wrong, and that Stephen Brenner came through.

Any actions I have taken over the course of this transaction have been dropped and have failed. Stephen Brenner does not deny he owes me the $4,000.00. And last time we spoke (months ago) he agreed to make good by February 1, 2017.

There is no disagreement here, Stephen Brenner says that he is stuck, because his girlfriend loves my turtle, but that he does not have the money to pay.

This BOI almost always turns on me, but Stephen Brenner does not dispute the heist. In hindsight, I probably should have handled things differently, but, hindsight is 20/20. I was not expecting the man to accept my turtle, and then tell me to buzz off
