Rescued snake
I found a desert kingsnake that has been eluding me for four months. he/she is pretty small and thin and has a nice creamy yellow color with a lot of black. there are some scabs or scars and he is very slow and not moving a lot. I am going to see if my vet can check him out tomorrow morning. Are these snakes usually very slow and deliberate in their general attitude? i don't interact with a lot of kings but when the couple adults i have met are calm, they move very slowly. I have experience with corns, balls and lucy ratsnakes, all of whom seem a little quicker and less muscular.
