Need advice from our experienced shippers...

I just got an order for one of my baby balls (yay), but here's the dilemma. They are in Coral Springs, Florida. The temps for the foreseeable future are going to be daytime high's around 90. Shipping from Michigan, nighttime lows will be in the mid to upper 50's. In your opinion, would you use heat pack(s) or cold pack(s)? I'm shipping FedEx for delivery before 10:30 AM. I've never shipped to such a hot destination, so I could use some good advice. Thanks my friends!

Depending on what your temps are when you seal the box, I'd say use a cool pack, or nothing. It won't be in Michigan very long...
**Have the package held at the nearest FedEx station for the customer to pickup. It will typically be there before 830 (that's when the trucks leave for their deliveries), and will be stored inside in a nice temp controlled room.

(you can either ask the customer the location, or find it @ FedEx.com & ask which one they want. Personally, I only ship to FedEx staffed locations...not worth the fuss & aggravation if somebody at Kinko's doesn't like snakes)

Excellent, thanks Harald, I really appreciate it. I was considering not using a pack at all because of the temps issue, I'm glad you confirmed that as a valid option. Their closest staffed location is about 6 miles away, so i don't think they'll have an issue with picking it up.
