Is anyone else picturing in there mind what Gary Larson's cartoon would look like.

One gator holding up the sign, another pounding it in, a one looking left, one looking right and a fifth one leaning in saying "hurry up I think I see someone coming"

Another good one would be all the gators lying by the side of the road with one looking up at the sign out of the corner of his eye, a cyclist approaching from the distance and behind a big rock in the background a pile of bikes, bike helmets and back packs and a caption that reads "life's been good since Jake got that job with the highway sign department"

Or how about this one. Several gators lounging around the side of the road with one looking off into the distance at a pair of hikers approaching. In the background there is a rock with a human mask, a set of car keys on it and a beat up old pickup truck behind it. He says "here come two more, Bert, grab the mask and the keys and go get the truck"


Or this variation the hikers are approaching from the left the gators are lounging in the middle and we see Bert, already in the truck with the mask on approaching from the right. In the background we see a few backpacks and a bike helmet. No caption needed but I'm sure a few good ones could be thought up. Maybe like "this is Bert's best idea ever" or " way to go Bert" as if coming from one of the other gators or "Bert finally has a good idea" as a general caption

Or, stealing from wolfy's comment, a two panel job, in the first A couple of Gators in a pawn shop with a cart load of bikes, helmets and backpacks and the pawn shop operator says " that's the third load this week, where do you guys get all this stuff" and the second panel shows the sign, a couple of gators by the side of the road, and an approaching cyclist.

Or stealing from Rich's comment, a bunch of gators by the side of the road, a guy on a bike and a truck approaching in the distance the sign and a caption that reads "which would you choose"

or tiger lillys idea A warden gator writing out a citation to a group of gators with the caption "It's a good idea fellas but you know its illegal to bait the hikers. I'm gonna have to write you up for that one"
