i had about 8 of these bad boys get out in my garage...i had to hunt them down one by one and it took me like 4 hrs to catch em all (i dont have a shop vac but that was pretty clever). i let the cat in the garage like a sheep dog to help me round em up, he never killed any of them he just keep them runin and keep them from hiding for to long. looking back it was kinda of enternaining but i definitely learned you need a good cage for these suckers because saying the chew alot is an understatement.

I found out that my Shop Vac works for small rats, weanlings, and the bigger rats too if you can get them squarely on the side!

I stopped breeding them..they are too little and fast...and I absolutely did NOT want a preggers female to escape! Just imagine the population explosion as soon as one of her suckers was big enough to impregnant her again!! (and his female siblings)

one of the ones that got out was actually prego and had the babies days after we caught her...18 of them!!!! she actually died giving birth...my wife would have killed me if she had them in our garage lol. unfortunatly i did not take pictures hopefully they dont get through again but if they do i will take some pics of the carnage. i added some wood blocks too and i think that helped.
