and I think I scared/confused David a little bit when I called it "CUTE" even after learning it was a roach :P

I still think it's cute too! How long does it take for them to darken again?

It would take a lot more than you thinking the roach was cute to scare or confuse me. Or would it?

While I have not had that much time on my hands to sit and watch them turn dark I would have to say that within 24 hours they have darkened back up and their exoskeleton has hardened.

If my morally sound friend would like to appropriate any of the pics here feel free.

Gotta tell you I thought it was nicer before I knew what it was: But then I'm one of those philistine roach-phobes... sorry.
