This morning I had a snow hatch just like this one. The rest of the clutch is perfect.
Mine seems to be fused together about the same point but continues further down then this one. I'm opting for the freezer at this point. I really don't see how he could eat.

I have had 4 clutches of corns so far this year. No problems but this one egg. It was the last to hatch and was attached to the bottom of one other egg and set further down in the incubation material.

I appreciate it Paul. I'm really glad you posted this thread back in 2005. I may not have started a thread myself. As soon as I laid eyes on the snake, I remembered this post. I want to understand more why this happens. If it is truly environmental.
