Even if the 4 Bill mentioned were eliminated there is still 25% voting good guy and 75% voting bad guy.

I wonder if everybody who had voted good guy is aware that they can change their vote?

Bill.

As Rich said, that topic is covered ad nauseum on this thread. But I will briefly rehash it again, here goes:

When Rich took his brief sabbatical he rolled back some changes he had made to the site including the "pay to play" requirement for posting in the BOI and voting in GGC polls. Upon his return, and seeing this thread and the other one about you in the BOI he saw potential for abuse and returned the GGC poll voting privileges to verified (paid) members only. I don't believe that this was to suit the needs of anything but what he saw as the best interest of this site and that program though of course his motives have been questioned.

Considering what you pulled Bill, Thou dost protest toooooooo loudly. Let me ask you this on that.........What way would YOU vote on yourself Bill?......Good guy or bad guy.

On a side note It should read

"I have fallen, and I can't get up!" (At least not in the foreseeable future.)

Gee wiz Bill....I havn't seen anyone round these parts wait to "See outcomes" when any other scammer is caught red handed. Why should you be any different?.......besides....there was already an outcome!....the drama unfolded and you got busted.

Back to the topic at hand. The Good Guy/Bad Guy certification seems to be a tool used by sellers increase a buyers confidence in feeling safe making a transaction with the seller. Its also a tool used by the buyer in selecting a seller
he/she may stand an increased chance of not getting robbed by (although this is NO GUARANTEE!)

This system is of course open to some abuse, such as friends and or enemies/competitors of the seller voting one way or another based on biases not related to the sellers business practices. On the whole though, I don't think this will be the case, and the true colors of a seller will be well represented by his/her overall vote tally.

In a case like yours Bill, where the whole mess was trotted out in public for all to see the evidence and your admission, those who voted did so with confidence in the fact that you are not someone they or anyone else would be wise to deal with.
