Well...she was very nice and she did have a clear belly and granite speckles, but he wasn't interested in my offer. However, he did sell me a 500 gram male albino ball python along with the 5 cage rack system. Pic later, he's a beauty!

Help me decided: He is offering her to me for 250$ possiably gravid to pastel. She has a clear belly. Would you risk it?

Considering that he already tried to pass her off as a black pastel/cinny, I would not. Actually, I personally would have not bought anything from someone that tried to pass off a normal for anything other than. But that's just me, and my $.02.

For all we know his definition of gravid could mean in the same tub as a male for 5 mins while he was cleaning cages. I wouldnt. Id take the rack and albino and be happy at that.

I agree with Robert and Matt on this one...

Sigh...stop being so right. I offered him 300 for the 'cinny' and the pastel male with an extra 200 if she proved and he said 'no', which leads me to believe that he knows she won't prove out. I just learned that she's direct from Africa, which makes him think she a new line, but makes me think he's full of $&*@.

also.. clear bellies mean absolutely nothing.. most of my snakes, normals and not have clear bellies..

Yes it sounds like he is full of crap and is just trying to pump up the snake to sell it. There are alot of African imports that look special but are no more than a nice looking snake and not genetic for anything. I have 2 normals I bought as African imports and they look really nice but they haven't ever proved out to be anything genetic.

Well once I really asked him to put his money where his mouth was he shut up.
