We voted last week. Not exactly thrilled with the winner, but I guess that's the way it goes sometimes.

So yet again I voted AGAINST the most evil (in my opinion) of the two evils offered.
You could have done what my sister did and written in Willie Nelson.

Agreed there. But, shes kind of been like that the entire time.... I did not like that woman.

I have to agree with you there. She always exuded a bit of a "Beverly Hillbillies" air when on camera.

She was definitely a ploy that backfired. If Mccain had picked Romney as a running mate I truly believe the results would have been very different.

Ah well......hopefully we will be pleasantly surprised.....but i am not holding my breath

If Romney would have been picked as VP, I would have landed my vote with them.

Hopefully we will. Now only time will tell.

I liked her for the fact she was different and wasn't ashamed of it. Yeah she was hillbillyish so what. I'm just personally tired of the normal fakes running for office and empty promises each of them make. I just hope I'm wrong about Obama I really do.

Probably the best advice to heed is to: Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

Which would be the case no matter who won the election.

I think that despite his past associations, he will honestly try to do this. Although I do not agree with his philosophies and feel he is idealogically misguided, I don't think he is a "bad" man.

As for his supporters' desire for that particular type of unity, I have my doubts. I spoke to a black Obama supporter earlier today and told her that even though I don't like his policies, he does deserve our respect. She became indignant and asked, "Well, why wouldn't he?!". I replied that much of this country hasn't seen fit to give as much to the current president, but she already had her heels dug in playing the race card. It's a sad state of affairs when that is a deciding factor...for EITHER side.

Ive personally had a few people play that card on me. Or heard them ranting and raving about it, and personally, i think its pretty damn petty and childish.

Well guess what. I VOTED for him. So SHUT YOUR HOLES. Thats how i feel!!!
