For what it is worth, Lucille is soooo right.

If you work it out, then you work it out. I sincerely hope you do.
If not, then try to do so in a private and dignified fashion, in keeping with the personalities that we know and enjoy

All the best to you both.

All, I've posted on this once before. The whole process is painful. If I could have admitted my mistakes and she hers, the situation could have been different. However it is what it is, and the divorce although over on paper, is always a pain if kids are involved because the other party is never, did I say never, never out of your life. There will need to be a line drawn and a mutual relationship established for the benefit of the kids. Disagreements, arguments, fights whatever should be between the two individuals only. Trust that, my ex and I manage that but my new wife's ex doesn't get that and actully try's to force the kids to choose between him and his ex and / or between him and me. And he's even lost between him and I. Meaning, his kids chose me instead of their own dad. HE should have never put the kids in that position to begin with. As far as divorce. Seek counsel and guidance and work with a clear head, because what you want and what you can actully do, are different. Unless of course what you want is fair to begin with. Money is money, regardless of credit or dept, BOTH are shared. Courts eye, if you sold it ALL (minus a few premartial things) and had a 100 bucks left, you get 50 each. The catch is "what is it really worth if you don't sell it", you may think it's worth a thousand but the market may only bring 400. Divorce doesn't always have good timing and the market may be down. GOOD LUCK.
