I agree totally different snakes. I would contact seller and see if they accidently shipped you the wrong one.

Forget the color - as different cameras can be way off.

Those two patterns are entirely different.

The top pic is not the same snake~ there are three complete banded saddles in a row on the baby pic~ the subadult pics do not show those three in a row.

They look like different snakes to me as well. I hope the seller fixes the mistake.

OBVIOUSLY a different snake! the patterns aren't even CLOSE! the top one is unique looking. Probably why you wanted it. The bottom is normal looking. AND has that giant nasty scar on it. No way someone can defend that as the same snake. There isn't a single part of the patterns that match.

RAISE HELL! ha ha ha

The markings aren't even similar.

Do you believe this to be an honest mistake, Jen?

I'm not sure. I wanted this snake because of the really cool pattern in the pic, and I mentioned that in our e-mails. He never once said that the pic was not representative of the actual snake, neither in the ad nor in our e-mails. He mentioned this guy had some burn scars from a previous owner, which I'm fine with since Lucky has them too and she's OK. But this isn't even close to being the same snake. The first one has a black jungle pattern, this guy is normal with some blushing.

I did a BOI search on the seller and got nothing. But now I'm wondering if the reason I got nothing is because there are no GOOD posts about him either.

Still no response from him yet -- and normally he replies right away. I'll see what happens by tomorrow.
