I usually breed my females when they are around 8-10 months of age. I try to delay the age when they become receptive by restricting food slightly when they reach about 4 months old until they are about 7-8 months old, otherwise if you feed them lots and they become receptive young and you dont breed them they may become gravid with an infertile clutch. Just make sure before and after breeding that she gets lots of calcium. About twice a week I'll use a supplement with vitamin D3 and the rest of the week I use Minerall without D3 so that I dont overdose them on it. I use Ficus benjamina's or Schleffleras in all my cages and sometimes add some sticks for added climbing space. If I had the choice I would go with the mesh bottom, I use bark in my cages and have had no problems with impactions but I know there are plenty others that are against using substrates. The garage where I have my chameleons is slightly cooler in winter than in summer but my panthers breed all year long.
How long have you been breeding panthers for Emily? I thought you only had veileds. If you've got pics I would love to see
Anyways, hope this info helps you some, you can always email me with any other questions.
