As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.

Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

The Welcome Room & New Member Intros How about a place for new members to come on in, make an introduction, and meet the regulars? Talk about yourself or anything else that comes to mind, just to break the ice. Or just pull up a chair and make yourself at home for a spell.

Talking My Introduction
Hello!

I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Karla Grimes and I run a rescue in East Central Illinois specializing in sugar gliders, hedgehogs and chinchillas. We will also take other exotics when space is available. We also assist families with exotic pets to keep the animals they own by providing resources and information so they can better care for their pets.

We are an Illinois Dept. of Ag. licensed animal rescue and accept coatimundi, chinchillas, chipmunks, degus, dormice, duprasi, fennec foxes, ferrets, flying squirrels, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, hedgehogs, jerboas, lemmings, lemurs, prairie dogs, short-tailed possums, sugar gliders, squirrels, kinkajous, mice, mouse possums, rats, turtles, tortioses, reptiles, amphibians and other exotics.

Please feel free to share our information with other animal lovers!

If you know animals that need placement please feel free to contact us.
