Nesting Behavior

So, attempting to breed this year has been fantastic. I've watched their courting and mating behaviors, sometimes sitting in my snake room with the lights low for long stretches of time. This is all new to me, and it's all fascinating.

Now that the breeding is done and four of my females appear gravid, it's all only a matter of time. The first litter is due in 16 days, and the last is due August 5th. However, the female who is due first has begun building nests on the cool end of her enclosure. I'm a little nervous seeing that, thinking that the babies might come a little premature. Any of you guys happen to have an estimate of how long females usually start nesting before giving birth?

Apparently it can begin at least a week before she gives birth, lol. Ten days to go 'till her due date. She's still nesting, and still camped out on the cool end of her enclosure. I've been spending as little time in my reptile room as possible. I'm very anxious and I'm sure she'd rather just be left alone, all things considered.

Best of luck with your babies everybody!
